Ok so i noticed it's been over a year since I updated this thing so might as well do this now when i have something to write about. Ok first order of business I hate dealing with bestbuy. Hate calling them, hate talking to them. So I was looking into getting a Blu-ray player so I wanted to check to see what they had in stock. When i tell the sales associate that i have a really old tv (it has a build-in VCR player and no HDMI cable outlet...slot...thing) anyway, this women starts getting all upiedy with me saying *insert annoying voice here* "You don't want a Blu-ray player if you don't have a HD tv that's all what the blu-ray's about" I tell her thats not the point and I DON'T CARE just tell me what you got that fit my criteria. But she keeps going on about the wonderful experience that I'm missing w/o a HD TV. So I got to explain to this girl that i don't care about the picture quality, my TV is fine I'm not in the market for a new one so stop trying to sell me a new one. So long story short i got to wait 30 mins for her to tell me she can't find one and to look online 0.0. THAT'S YOUR FREAKIN JOB LADY! 'O really i could just look online? thanks so much it's not like I already tried that and found out your website is confusing to navigate', sorry for making you actually have to work for your pay-check...
So on to rant #2. I almost got ran over yesterday. yep. I was walking out of Cuyamaca College and across Fury to Brabham (or however you spell it). I made it halfway across the street and there was this big car who wanted to turn right onto Fury but was waiting for me to get out of the street (his light turns green the same time when the crosswalk light says go). All of a sudden this little car comes speeding out around the waiting big-car and turns right (must have been in a hurry and was wondering why this big-car was not moving on a green light). He didn't see me crossing the street because I was hidden behind the big car that was pulled half-way out waiting to turn. Little speedy car saw me ( and heard the bigger car honkin at him) then as he came around the big car, and swerved to the next lane barley missing me and bumping into the center divide a little bit. The little car just kept going, unfazed apparently. I was shaken after the whole event, it couldn't have lasted more then 10 seconds, and if i hadn't jumped out of the way when he came speeding around that big-car i would have been hit. I use to go up Fury a little more and try to cross the street to avoid the crosswalk, because of the long wait and the fact that i got the go ahead to cross the street the same time as the straight and right turners always unnerved me a bit...i'll try my luck crossing the street further up w/o the crosswalk from now on.
